The first newsletter of the Erasmus+ InterCat project is already available. The newsletter includes information about this project on circular and accessible tourism, the first face-to-face meeting among the partners of the project, the next activities planned and the deliverables that the project will develop.
TTT-I Erasmus+ project publishes the third newsletter of the project, which aims to develop and implement a training methodology on non-formal learning of languages for immigrants. The TTT-I training programme focuses on non-formal learning methodologies that will conform a curriculum including topics such as cyber café (already available), language tandem, how to deal with traumatic situations, generate awareness about cultural differences, the socio-economic environment, and cultural mediation for immigrants. The partnership of this project is composed by the coordinator of the project Ad MERITUM Foundation (Poland), Active Citizens Association (Greece), Second Chance School of Mytilini (Greece) and Jaume I University Business Foundation (Spain).
La Kick-off Meeting del proyecto InterCAT tuvo lugar en Tusa (Italia) los días 28 y 29 de julio de 2021. Esta primera reunión presencial permitió a los socios de este proyecto Erasmus+ conocerse en persona. Las sesiones de trabajo de estos dos días de reunión se han centrado en el trabajo realizado y por realizar para implementar los entregables de este proyecto sobre turismo circular y accesible. Especialmente se ha centrado en el desarrollo del Glosario de términos para el turismo circular y accesible, que se presentará finalmente durante el curso de formación del proyecto en Portugal.
Con motivo de la reunión de lanzamiento de InterCAT que tuvo lugar en Tusa (Italia) los días 28 y 29 de julio de 2021, la organización anfitriona, la Asociación New Horizons (Coordinadora del Proyecto) ha difundido el comunicado de prensa a varios periódicos locales de Sicilia para su publicación. La noticia ha llegado a varios medios de comunicación importantes, como la Gazzetta del Sud (uno de los periódicos más
importantes del sur de Italia), Nebrodi News y Lettera Emme.
A través de los artículos publicados, el público pudo conocer nuestra asociación multinacional, los objetivos del proyecto, los principales resultados, así como la próxima actividad, el curso de formación en Portugal, con el fin de atraer la atención y el interés del público. Además, también se destaca la visita del partenariado al municipio local, subrayando la determinación del proyecto de involucrar a las autoridades locales como partes interesadas identificadas para la aplicación y difusión del impacto del proyecto.

The InterCAT’s Kick-Off Meeting took place in Tusa (Italy) on 28-29 July 2021. This first face-to-face meeting allowed the partners of this Erasmus+ project to meet each other in person. The working sessions of these two days meeting has focused on the work done and to be done in order to implement the deliverables of this project on circular and accessible tourism. Specially focusing on the development of the Glossary of terms for circular and accessible tourism, that will be finally presented during the project’s Training in Portugal.
On the occasion of InterCAT’s Kick-Off Meeting that took place in Tusa (Italy) on 28-29 July 2021, the hosting organization, Association New Horizons (aka Project Coordinator) has diffused the press release to several local newspapers in Sicily for publication. The news has made it to a number of significant news outlets, including the Gazzetta del Sud (one of the most important newspaper in the south of Italy), Nebrodi News, and Lettera Emme.
Through published articles, the public could learn about our multinational Partnership, the project Objectives, main Results, as well as the next Activity – the Training Course in Portugal in order to draw public attention and interest. In addition, the partnership’s visit to the local Municipality is also highlighted, emphasizing the project’s determination in involving local authorities as identified stakeholders for the application and diffusion of project impact.
