AGNESS, a H2020 European project proposal, has been presented this January as the first work within the management assignment for the promotion, boost and technical assistance in international projects of the UJI to the FUE-UJI. The FUE-UJI is a member of RESTAT (REcognition of Skills to Transform Accessible Tourism), a new project approved under the Erasmus + programme in the form of ‘Strategic Partnerships in the field of education and training’. It will last two and a half years and will seek to meet the needs surrounding the accessibility of tourism in Europe through training and the incorporation of more accessible infrastructures. The consortium is formed by seven entities from the following countries: Italy, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria.
The FUE-UJI, as a partner, is part of the E-STEAM project (Equality in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), an Erasmus + recently approved in the action of ‘Strategic Partnerships in the field of education and training ‘ For two years, E-STEAM will work to increase and balance the presence of women in fields of education such as Mathematics, Technology, Engineering and Science, since their presence so far has been very scarce.
On the last Thursday, July 18th, the EuroFUE-UJI presented its services on Horizon 2020 projects and international projects to different research groups of the UJI in the conference of presentation of the “Plan of Action of European Funds” (2018-2020) by Andreu Iranzo, General Director for European Financing and Funds of the Valencian Region. On the other hand, Cristina Villarroya, responsible of the Office of European and International Projects of the UJI, presented the OPEI and its newly launched website.
