FUE-UJI HOSTS A TRAINING WEEK FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND SENIORS OF THE ERASMUS+ CIA PROJECT

The Erasmus+ CIA Project organises a training week for international young people and seniors at the FUE-UJI, coordinator of the project. Between 5 and 9 July, the FUE-UJI hosted this training activity in Castelló, which brought together young people and seniors from Portugal, Spain, Poland, Romania and Turkey. The total of 30 participants of the Erasmus+ CIA project Training have received training for the implementation of
Intergenerational Civic Councils in their localities and regions.

Representatives of the different partner organisations of this Erasmus+ project have delivered the training sessions. In addition to the FUE-UJI, INNETICA from Spain, the Directorate of Sport and Youth of Brasov County from Romania, the Sójovem das Saibreiras Association from Portugal, Tavsanli Kaymakamligi from Turkey and the Institute for Research and Innovation in Education Foundation from Poland have given the training.

Participants have enjoyed training in activities focused on communication, teamwork, leadership, implementation of Intergenerational Civic Councils and how to implement and participate in civic actions at local and regional level.
In addition to the different training activities, attendees also enjoyed a series of workshops, linked to the theme of the project for the exchange of experiences between generations. Among them, they were able to enjoy a visit to the Espaitec facilities, where they learned about the advice and mentoring activities for entrepreneurs and young companies from the Secot organisation. They also visited the Museo Inacabado de Arte Urbano (MIAU) in Fanzara, through which they were able to see how art can unite different generations and thus revive the young spirit of rural areas.

After this successful international training, the consortium will continue to work on the following project activities to promote intergenerational knowledge exchange from old to young and thus the development of new and potential personal and professional skills in both generations, as well as the improvement of personal relationships between generations, which has proven to be especially beneficial for the development of both groups.

EuroFUE-UJI participates in the European Erasmus Days with the CIA and Ecoblue Tourism Projects

The European and International Projects Office of FUE-UJI will organise two online events to celebrate the European Erasmus Days on 15, 16 and 17 October. The Erasmus Days, a European initiative, consists of three days of celebrating the Erasmus + programme in Europe and beyond. It is an opportunity to organize an event, share your Erasmus experience or spread the word about your project. EuroFUE-UJI has organised two online events for this purpose, in which it will inform about the Ecoblue Tourism and CIA Projects, two projects that it coordinates.

These online events will take place next Friday 16th October through a live video on the Facebook profile of both the CIA project and Ecoblue Tourism project. These events will be open to all interested online users. The Discover more about Local Intergenerational Civic Councils event will be held at 11am, while the Discover more about Ecoblue Tourism event is scheduled to take place at 12pm, Central European Time.

Both events will introduce a brief presentation of each project, its website and its objectives, followed by a game through the Facebook live videos allowing the participants to learn more about the projects by playing and answering questions about them in a dynamic and fun way. These events organised by EuroFUE-UJI are available on the official website of the European Erasmus Days 2020, as well as all the initiatives scheduled for this year’s online edition.
