The ASIDE consortium meeting has been a key opportunity for the celebration of the International Workshop of the project, in which the cases on digital needs of social services of each country participating in the project (Poland, Turkey, Spain and Czech Republic) have been presented. This workshop was held online on 2 July and brought together more than 30 participants.
The introduction of the presentation of the results in the partner countries of the project has been carried out by Javier Sánchez, professor at the Universitat Jaume I. In addition, representatives of each country that forms the consortium of the project have presented the particular cases of their countries in terms of social inclusion. Accordingly, the cases of Poland, Turkey, Czech Republic and Spain were presented.
Finally, the workshop concluded with a debate on the topics previously presented and linked to the growing need for digitalisation skills, Internet security, etc.
The European and International Projects Office of the FUE-UJI (EuroFUE-UJI) has hosted the transnational meeting between the partners of the Erasmus+ ASIDE project, which took place in Castelló on 1 and 2 July. This consortium meeting was attended by 2 representatives from each of the entities participating in the project. Fundacja Instytu Badani Innowacjiw Edukacji (Poland) as project coordinator, the Public Education Centre Saricam (Turkey) and the Adult Education Centre ITC
International TEFL (Czech Republic) as partners, as well as the FUE-UJI as partner and organiser of the event.
The meeting between the partners in Castelló focused on taking a balance of the results developed so far in the framework of this project on e-Inclusion and on establishing and defining the actions for the next activities of the project. The activities focused on management, dissemination and quality control of the results of the ASIDE project were also evaluated.
The transnational meeting has also had the participation of the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation and Cooperation of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló (UJI), through its Deputy Vice-Rector Eva Camacho, who has exchanged with the partners of the different countries the internationalisation and mobility actions of the UJI. As well as the possibilities of international cooperation and collaboration between the partners of the project and the University.
The Erasmus+ project ASIDE keeps working in order to provide inclusive education and to bridge the digital divide in terms of digital knowledge. The consortium has contributed to the development two new reports of the project on the Digital Needs for Social Services and the Professional Use of Information and Communciation Technology-Based Solutions for Social Integration. The project has been disseminated in SGEM Conference and in several round tables with trainers and experts on Adult Education and Digitalization. Finally a second questionarie is been carried out in order to know the feedback of the students on digital technologies and the relationship between students and trainers. This study will offer the necessary tools to carry out initiatives and services based on digital social inclusion.
