The RESTAT project holds its FINAL TRANSNATIONAL MEETING IN OSTRAVA, CZECH REPUBLIC

The final transnational meeting of the project RESET It was held on February 4, 2022 in Ostrava with the expected participation of 14 members of the international project team. Unfortunately, the Spanish partners of FUE-UJI and the IT specialist from the Romanian organization Rogepa were unable to attend, so they joined the work part of the meeting through the online platform. The non-profit organization Handy Club Ostrava hosted 3 participants from the municipality of Tusa (Italy), 2 participants from the New Horizon association (Italy), 2 participants from ECTE (Greece) and 3 participants from Rogepa (Romania).

The work part of the meeting was held at the Impact Hub coworking center. With the project coming to an end, much attention was devoted to the latest project outcome: IO4 – Boosting employability and job mobility of tourism professionals – Career guidance tool. The association discussed the details, established timelines and plans for the pilot and external evaluation. The dissemination of the project and the achievement of all the initially planned indicators was another important issue that was discussed, agreed and planned.

The participants also visited “Dolní oblast Vítkovic”, which is a UNESCO heritage site and is an interesting example of adapting a former steel factory into an accessible educational and tourist site. The next stop on the meeting program was a visit to the Handy Club Ostrava hall, where participants met some of the club's disabled members and were welcomed by the president of Handy Club Ostrava, Mr. Zdeněk Jedlicka. Another example of a tourist structure that is partially accessible all year round was the “Skalka area”, which was originally built as a small ski resort and gradually became a large complex for different leisure activities focused mainly on skiers. children.
